While Windows Media Player may be able to play some streams acceptably, it is recommended that you use a better media playback program for several reasons. A couple of the main reasons are: 1. Windows Media Player does not support some media file standards such as ogg vorbis audio and divx video, so if you want to play any of these types of files you will need a different program. 2. Windows Media Player (especially the newer versions) tends to be fairly large and can slow down your computer. |
